Making the Grade

September 17, 2019

When it’s time to decide where to send the kids to school, having choices is important. That’s why parents love the diversity of schools in Lake Elsinore, where public, private and charter school options are all available to help you find the perfect fit.

When it comes to local public schools, the Lake Elsinore Unified School District is expanding its academic offerings each year. Current programs, such as International Baccalaureate Diploma Programme, GATE and THINK Together, a K-8 after-school extended learning program, offer academic challenges that help students prepare for future college and career success. The AVID program is offered at many Lake Elsinore elementary, middle and high schools, and three schools have earned the distinction of AVID National Demonstration Schools: Terra Cotta Middle School, Elsinore High School and Lakeside High School.

There are also private and charter school options available in Lake Elsinore, each offering a variety of academic programs. One example is the Sycamore Academy of Science & Cultural Arts. This charter school’s small student-teacher ratios ensure students get the personal attention and guidance they need to learn effectively. With dedicated teachers and a well-rounded curriculum, Sycamore Academy of Science & Cultural Arts prepares students for future college and career success.

The choice and quality of education that Lake Elsinore offers is just one of the many reasons why Summerly is a great place to grow up. For more information on the Summerly community, sign up for the interest list and Like us on Facebook.
