Outdoor Fun in Lake Elsinore

July 13, 2017

Looking for fun outdoor activities? Summerly has you covered! Whether it’s hiking, boating or horseback riding, it’s time to get outside and enjoy all that Lake Elsinore has to offer.

Stay active this summer and discover the natural beauty right in your backyard at Ortega Falls – less than a half-mile long with a refreshing waterfall, this trail is a good hike for the whole family. For a more challenging trail, test out Bear Canyon. With three different routes ranging from 5.5 to 10 miles round trip, you’re sure to get a workout.

Beat the heat with a fun-filled day on the water. Home to the largest natural freshwater lake in SoCal, Lake Elsinore is perfect for boating, jet skiing, fishing and pretty much any water sport imaginable. Make a weekend of it over at the La Laguna Resort Campground. With picnic tables, tons of space and everything from rentals to amenities, it’s an awesome way to spend time with friends and family.

It’s never too late to try something new, and exploring the local horseback riding trails is a great way to see Lake Elsinore. Stop by the Riding Academy or Ortega Trails for horseback lessons that will get you comfortable in the saddle with expert instructors. Both are nearby and will make your horseback riding an afternoon to remember.

With so much fun to be had, it’s time to get out and explore all that life at Summerly has to offer!
